"Art for me is a form of nourishment.....the energy that is running through, flowing through the feel as if you’ve touched the heart of the place.....a way of understanding, seeing something....that was always there but you were blind to it"
Andy Goldsworthy 'Rivers and Tides'

Metal in Mexico 2019

In 2019 after many years away from the studio I spent two delightful days in a workshop at Van Doren Metal Art Studio with Lane and Alex in San Miguel de Allende. I've written about this in a March 2019 entry on my blog.

My piece evokes the contrast between Mayan/Aztec and Western/European facial features.
